BoaTTT's admissions office is actually genius, they play hard to get and now everyone thinks it's a good school. Proof that negging always works.

I assume they are just complying with the ADA. You can't discriminate against mentally challenged applicants.

What do you expect when 40% of the students receive an honors grade?

HAHA this thread is funny. Actually though, Boalts admissions policy is genius, because by giving acceptances to low LSAT candidates (taking the best of those however) that probably won't gain admission to other highly ranked schools (because low LSAT) they up their yield and lower their acceptances, "gaming" the rankings. Genius.

Edit: I put gaming in quotes because I don't fully believe this is why they do it. I think it has to do with their general assessment of what makes a good law school applicant, that effect is just a side benefit that occurs because of the LSAT based admissions policies of most other high ranked schools.

Second Edit: The thread isn't funny, the people in it are funny. The title and purpose are pretty whatever. I like the Arrested Development ref.

We're being awfully critical of Boalt. Despite not predicating their entire admissions policy around a test that judges very little, they have managed to perform well on a news report that is important only because people are idiots who can't do quantitative analysis. kudos to them. I hope that 503 passes and Boalt does away with the LSAT entirely.

i think boalt's whole "we look for well rounded, unique applicants" approach is bs. all the well rounded people with good scores go to HYS and CCN so boalt tries to keep up by playing this card. what is their LSAT median by the way?

How will they admit people then? Number of 7+ pitchfork-rated albums on their iPod?
