Clerkship a Year After Graduation

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Feb 10, 2015 2:22 pm

I'm a 3L and I'm curious to what my outlook would be like if I accepted a clerkship for 2016-2017? Currently I have no job after graduation lined up.

How do you go about doing this? Would I have to tell employers that I have a clerkship after it - I imagine that will lead to zero offers. Would I instead do nonprofit/contract review for a year then do my clerkship?

Any insights on how to swing this and not sit on a couch for a year.

Thanks!
