Would rather hear that Penn group complain than the former SBA Pres at NYU!

Does Azrack sit in Brooklyn or Central Islip, or both? How does that work.

Also, which other judges sit in Central Islip other than Seybert and Brown? Does Hurley still have cases?

Given the conflicting claims on Lohier and Sullivan occasionally taking non-latin honors students, is there any data to back this? I've only seen them take magna-quality students but maybe I'm not looking in the right places.

Former CA2 clerk. Lohier emphasizes URM hiring, and some of his URM clerks do not have Latin honors, but frankly I don’t think he really bends for white/Asian applicants. I don’t recall seeing Sullivan clerks with non-magna-ish credentials. He is probably on the whole less grade-selective than Livingston or Park, but I wouldn’t say he isn’t selective.

Briefly flicked through my law school clerk database and it seems to support your take on Lohier

Rochon is insanely picky. She will interview 20 applicants for 10 minutes each, reject them all, and put up a new OSCAR posting.

I she a decent boss though? This feels like a bit of red flag.

I've only heard good things about her. But you'd need to move to Vermont.

Any word on what Ho's like as a boss (either as a new district court judge or from before), and/or what his hiring process/factors are like now that he's on OSCAR?

I've interacted with him since he's been on the bench and he was very pleasant and personable, and took a genuine interest in getting to know me. His deputy is super sweet, too.

Lee or Perez. Beth Robinson is an OG gay rights attorney from the 1990's but "Vermont progressive" is kind of a different flavor from "woke."

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
