Re: Michigan Law Class of 2015
Just fyi but I registered for Preview I a few days ago for "waitlist" and they got back to me two days later in the early am saying they found a spot for me. Plus I was told you can always switch your registration if you change your mind. Just wanted to put that out there in case anyone else wanted to go to Preview I.

Why do they hate us? I know they have my cell number right....I need a current student (summer starter preferably!) to take pity on me and PM. :pthelawschoolproject wrote:I didn't get one either...imjustjoking22 wrote:I never got a phone call from a student booo. I wonder why?

I randomly emailed the contact people at some of the groups I was interested in (Headnotes, Outlaws, OWLS) and people have been amazing about emailing me and offering to talk on the phone. If there's a group you think you want to join, google it and find the contact person and email him/her. (It did take a while to get responses from some people, but once I did, they were super friendly and helpful!)imjustjoking22 wrote:Why do they hate us? Yea, I was just kidding someone has already pm'd me, and I've been in contact with admissions, so I'm good! Everyone has been very helpful and awesome in general.Lady in Red wrote:I randomly emailed the contact people at some of the groups I was interested in (Headnotes, Outlaws, OWLS) and people have been amazing about emailing me and offering to talk on the phone. I need to play hockey in law school. Alas, I haven't played hockey since I was 11ish, and haven't really skated since.
I was going pro before I hung up the skates, I tell you.

I'm looking into a 2 BR, 2 bath in Zaragon West (they are offering a discount rate for a while)...would be nice to have a 1L roommate. Preference for someone who's relatively quiet. PM me if interested.

I'm also really scared about the loan situation but then again I hope that one day the rewards will outweigh the risk I'm taking now. (and I don't mean monetary rewards as those are a very dismal possibility)

Re: Michigan Law Class of 2015
I remember someone sending me a YouTube video of MLaw students plotting different ways to kick undergrads out of their library. My guess is that the library is open to the public or at least the university in general.Adm.Doppleganger wrote:Do you have to be a law student to use the law library? Re: Michigan Law Class of 2015
If I remember correctly from my visit...the library is only open to law students (you have to walk past a gate with a student sitting behind a desk) but the reading room in the legal research building is a 50/50 split between law students and undergrads/public (except during finals, when it's either 80/20(?) or restricted to law students only)JDizzle2015 wrote:I remember someone sending me a YouTube video of MLaw students plotting different ways to kick undergrads out of their library. It's hard to say how strict these rules are because we were clearly part of a tour group
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
