Just fyi but I registered for Preview I a few days ago for "waitlist" and they got back to me two days later in the early am saying they found a spot for me. Plus I was told you can always switch your registration if you change your mind. Just wanted to put that out there in case anyone else wanted to go to Preview I.

I randomly emailed the contact people at some of the groups I was interested in (Headnotes, Outlaws, OWLS) and people have been amazing about emailing me and offering to talk on the phone. If there's a group you think you want to join, google it and find the contact person and email him/her. (It did take a while to get responses from some people, but once I did, they were super friendly and helpful!)

yes pls. i shall jot down increasingly absurd alternatives to law school in anticipation. I shall join the circus Cirque du Soleil! I shall start a business catering to people who make armageddon shelters in their backyards! I shall move to Uganda and become a guerrilla fighter who will not return without the head of Joseph Kony!

Do you have to be a law student to use the law library? Does anyone, maybe who took a tour, know? My SO will be telecommuting while I go to law school, and would like to be able to work there while I study.

I remember someone sending me a YouTube video of MLaw students plotting different ways to kick undergrads out of their library. My guess is that the library is open to the public or at least the university in general.

If I remember correctly from my visit...the library is only open to law students (you have to walk past a gate with a student sitting behind a desk) but the reading room in the legal research building is a 50/50 split between law students and undergrads/public (except during finals, when it's either 80/20(?) or restricted to law students only)

It's hard to say how strict these rules are because we were clearly part of a tour group
