The most useful thing has already been done, learn to read case law etc. Now it is time to get accustomed to the different approach to studying and learning to glean pertinent information from opinions, WITHOUT spending unnecessary hours learning minutia that is largely without significance.
One could discuss wether it is of any importance or a possibility to get any advancement by getting the "right" laptop for Law studies.
