Two main question about blue booking.
(1) In an open memo, when in the rule explanation paragraph, am I required to BB cite the facts relevant to the case I am using to explain the law. For example, In Simmons the court determined the hospital had acted negligently by failing to put up a wet floor sign. Simmons v. Hospital, 1 P.2d. 1 (Kan. 2015). The hospital had been flooded by a monsoon earlier in the evening. Blah, Blah, Blah... The first sentence obviously requires a citation, but do I need to cite the sentence that only discusses the facts?
(2) In a situation like this:
Like in Knudsen, there is an obvious need to address an individual who is affecting the business interests of the organization.
Am I expected to cite the Knudsen reference? I feel like the answer is yes, but I'm not certain. It is the Analysis part of the IRAC and I am only comparing the Knudsen case the facts in my case.
Thanks everyone!

Re: Can someone help me with some BBing questions?
Ask your TA or prof. Only they will know whether providing the answers to your question would be an honor code issue.
(Also, some profs want cites in the analysis and some don't, so it's even more important to consult your prof. Always write in the style preferred by your target audience).

Rule explanation is either Id or short cite. You don't have to cite for the rule application paragraph(s). You can just say "Our client, similar to Brooks, ..."
