Best of 2013

What were your 2013 highlights? Numerous possibilities… accepted into the school you wanted; offered; high grades; hooked up; won moot court; special LS acknowledgment; passed the bar; etc. etc. (including something separate of LS).

Mine was offered and then permitted to transfer to the state I wanted.

Making it through first semester without a nervous breakdown or a cocaine habit.

my highlight was probably getting accepted to the school I wanted and then moving down here and getting to start over with everything... And drinking. The drinking in 2013 was wonderful. I hope 2014 is prepared to top it.

The last 11 months since have basically constituted an increasingly depressing series of reminders/tortured truths of/unveiling how little that acceptance actually meant, and how fucking stupid I was for being happy about it and being deceived into believing it was anything near a "highlight". Fuck 2013.

please elaborate on this
