If I have some time at the end. Usually only takes like 3 minutes to run through it. Not sure it really matters, but it might help a little with presentation.

I never do. Takes me like 15 minutes with all the typos i make. Way too much time to try and fix them all. Profs seem not to care.

I just rightclick -> correct whenever Word flags something for me. I think it's worth it.

Yes! And I always make sure my answers have headings showing a road map for the Prof. Also, if I have time, I usually say something nice about the professor and how much of a joy his/her class has been a the end. Who knows if it helps, lol, but I do it anyway.

It's not going to make a difference. You're not even allowed to write notes to the professor, although i'm 90% sure the above poster was joking. The only thing that matters as far as spelling goes, is that you spell correctly all the magic buzz words your professor will be looking for.
