So, next semester is my last semester of law school, and I need one more credit than what I'm currently registered for. I've more or less two options.
Option One
One-credit independent study. I would wind up needing to write a 20-page pager or so, which I could probably get published in one of my school's secondary journals (goes with their subject area and they're apparently short on notes). I'm on LR but my note wasn't selected for publication. Would be pass-fail.
Option Two
One-credit class in advanced legal research, graded, meets one day a week for an hour or something like that. I can't imagine it's that difficult.

Re: Independent Study versus Slacker Class
Gunning for post-graduation clerkship? Independent study with hopes of publishing it in a low-ranked journal.
