Ungrade midterm as an indicator?

Post by JuneLSATFail » Fri Oct 12, 2012 12:29 pm

Got the results of my first midterm today and I got an A. However, it was ungraded (gave curved fake grades), I didn't really prepare too much, and haven't take any previous practice exams. I am assuming that most others took it lightly too since it was ungraded. Is my midterm grade any indication of future success on finals, or was it just a crapshoot?

Sure, some correlation. But still got to work as hard or harder to make it actually count. Use it as motivation

I got an A in a midterm like this (didn't count but she might use it to "bump" in case of ties) and a B+ on the final. People will learn from what they did wrong. I wouldn't let this get you even a little bit cocky.
