Thoughts on this civ pro supplement.

Has anyone ever used this?

It surely looks like a fun read, but I am not sure if I should spent $40 bucks on something marginally helpful. Thoughts?

In my opinion this looks stupid. I hate books that try to be clever or pithy in discussing the law. I want something that simplifies things by organizing the important points in a helpful way, not something that makes things understandable by dumbing it down. To be fair though I have not read the book you're asking about, but judging the book by its cover I would say don't get it. I would stick with a more traditional supplement like an E&E. The E&E is the same price and is a well known and trusted supplement.
