UCC or privacy gurus
A friend of mine posted this on Facebook as her status....I kind of have my doubts that this would hold up in court, but I've only studied Article 2 of the UCC, so maybe I'm wrong?

I keep seeing this status and it's making me want to bang my head against a wall. It's a load of BS, just like all those other chain statuses and posts about how if you put this up as your status you won't have to pay for Facebook.
The UCC is a commercial code. The provisions quoted are from the first article, which states that it's provisions apply to the other articles of the UCC. The other provisions of the UCC have nothing to do with Facebook- secured transactions, sales, etc. Totally not applicable.
All being a publicly traded entity means is that instead of a bunch of private people owning it, the public can buy and sell shares in the company.

Awwww! That's cute! Clearly not drafted by anyone who understands the law, but still cute.
And signing "without prejdudice" to reserve your rights means nothing when you don't have the rights you believe you are reserving.
