Class Ranking (exams)
Now that exam results are beginning to trickle in, time to see how everyone ranked. Feel free to add feedback.
Edit: Since the Top 1% is skewing high, perhaps some folks are optimistically predicting, so the poll has been revised to allow recasting your selection, in the event it is necessary.

I get the whole "TLS self-selects towards stronger students" crap, but the top 1% number is a little high.

Is there revoting allowed? I want to see the distribution, but I don't have enough grades released to state with enough specificity.

You know, the top 1% can be as many as 6 people in the class. That's probably why so many people are selecting it. There really should be more specific options.

Let's be real. Regardless of your grades you still fall into "Seriously Unemployable"

Sadly, for some people, Top 10/30/50% can be "seriously unemployable."
60% of the time it works all the time.

Re: Class Ranking (exams)
I made the assumption that most exam grades would be available this month. Is this a valid assumption?
Mine are due in early Feb, so I figured by mid-Feb everyone would certainly have their results.
I also made the assumption that the top 1% and seriously unemployable would be sparse, so far zero for two! In any case, you can recast your ranking (in the event you were predicting your rank).

I think I'm like in the top 1-3% but idk...definitely top 5% solid but we shall see if that lasts. I still have no idea how this happened.

Update: I received two grades, both A. So I figure I can check top 25% for the moment.

This should change soon since many exam grades are finally being released. I presume some will modify their outcome to reflect actual versus predicted.

Re: Class Ranking (exams)
I think I've been around TLS to feel confident about a few things:
1) Very few of us are smart enough to be top 1% at most schools.
2) Most of us are narcissistic enough to think we are top 1% at every school
3) Most of us are intelligent enough/scared enough to top the median.

Third grade is in, another A. . . if anything, I am consistent. Not sure where that places me but I’m thinking top 25% for the moment. There are undoubtedly a lot of factors in play, but none as essential as the fourth grade.

Stop underselling yourself. 3 A's, you should be solidly within top 15-20% even with a median 4th grade unless your school inflates like crazy.

I hear that a ton load of grades will be released very soon. It will be interesting to see the updated results.
