I will be there! I am working on my winter wardrobe as we speak. I currently live in a place where 50' is considered ridiculously cold, and UGG boots are worn in the winter with shorts and no sense of irony...

Pending my December LSAT, BC is one of my top two or three choices. Anyone who's been admitted mind posting their numbers or PMing them to me? My LSAT's slightly below median, but my GPA is well above 75%.

I'm deciding between BC and BU. Waiting to see if BC offers any money. Anyone else having a hard time deciding between the two schools?

In the other day 165/3.92 ! If I get into BU I will have some decisions to make. And, maybe this question has been asked somewhere else but does scholly info generally come with the acceptance letter or a few weeks after?

Re: Boston College Class of 2014
I was recently accepted but have heard scholarship info won't come out until March. I was below both 25th percentiles so not expecting anything ha, BC was a reach for me so I am 95% positive I will be there in the Fall.
I also am from somewhere where 50 degrees is considered excrutiatingly cold so I am interested to see how I do in that cold weather. Have only heard good things about the school.

I will most likely be attending BC if they match W&M's offer.
Any updates on when $$ will be sent out?
Also, is there any sort of campus housing for grad students? I might prefer living in a dorm-like apartment during 1L

I'll be there. I am going to stay in the city because St. Patrick's Day is the day before (March 17) and I want to see Boston at its finest. Expedia and Kayak.com are really good search engines for cheap tickets. From my location, the South, Delta has the best deals.sly_lychee wrote:Anyone going to admitted students day? Accepted yesterday and am pretty confident I'll be there this fall, so I thought I'd post to see who else will be there.
I live in Boston now and BC alums are having an admitted students reception at Ropes & Gray next week. Anyone else in the area and going? I will also go to the open house 3/18

I know this has been asked a lot, but where do people usually live? I am looking into the D line, since i hate the B line, but want to make sure that i'm not totally isolating myself from other law students. Where are 1Ls living and do people go into Boston to go out (or where do they go out)?
thanks!
thanks!

I know I've been leaning toward Brighton.
When do most people look for a place? Do most people live with other 1Ls? If so, when do they meet up to find an apartment?

Last year, BC uploaded most applicants' scholly info on particular date (3/20). Expect the same this yearPerch wrote:anyone else getting concerned over (the lack of) scholarship offer...really want to go to BC but with offers from peer schools, hoping BC gets moving quick.

Re: Boston College Class of 2014
Hey All!
I'm definitely attending BC Law next Fall and I was hoping to check out apartments while I'm in Boston for the Open House (I'll be there from the 17th-20th). Is anyone looking for a roommate? I might live with a friend in the area that I know from undergrad, but I think I'd rather live with other law school students (rather than someone with a normal schedule haha).
I'm looking for...
--3-5 bedroom apartment/house..thus 2-4 roommates.
--Rent between 500-750/month
--Brighton or Allston near Comm Ave and close to a B line stop and the BC Shuttle (Cleveland Circle sounds good)
--Place that comes with a parking spot or two (I have a car, so think free rides to Trader Joes and campus, haha)
--Relaxed, friendly, clean, fun roommates (guys or girls, no preference..I'm a guy)
I went to undergrad at BU so I know the area pretty well and have already found a few places that I think would be great. PM me if you're on the same page! I'm in NYC if anyone lives in the area and wants to meet up!
