Hey everyone! Figured I would get this thread going for those who have been accepted to and decided on Berkeley. I know it's early, but I'll update this thread as the months progress.

If you're attending Berkeley next year, post that fact; I'll manage a list in the OP of TLSers who will be there next year! Let's get to know each other a bit.

Ideally, I would have given my parents the gift of a Berkeley acceptance in the form of sweatshirts and news this Christmas... too bad I couldn't contain the news for .5 seconds, let alone a month.

I was going to scan the acceptance letter and send to my parents who are overseas right now but they won't send one. I may just send them something once I get the email packet. They can wait.

Berkeley is also high on my list, and I will probably go to the ASW. Hope to meet you all there!

Status checker finally updated to "Admitted!" I was starting to think I'd dreamed it...

That would be a cruel cruel nighmare!

Do you remember when we would be able to get in to the admitted site? I think she said we will get the email in Dec right? I want to find out about the ASW schedule so I can book my flight in advance and rent a car. Maybe just take the whole week and go hang out in Monterey for a bit

Hey. Fortunately this is America and we can all just rack up lots and lots of debt...

Full sticker at Boalt is less than the cheapest crappy house you can find in CA, that's just scary.

Makes me regret leaving CA, although the savings don't seem groundbreaking. After 1L, can someone out of state become a resident? Assuming they get a CA driver's license and all that jazz.

Will they be sending information about financial aid in the info they send us in December? I was too excited when they called to think straight enough to ask. Also, see you all at the Admitted Students Weekend!

Anyone log into their status checker today? I've got a "Decision Letter Mailed" under "Mail Description" and today's date under "Mailing Date"

Ha it wasn't there when I left work at lunch time. Now it is! Of course I won't get it for a few days...

Exciting! Though I won't get it until next week either. Fellow East Coast-er here.

I wonder if it is just the letter? Maybe it will contain instruction on getting into admitted site. I'm dying to browse around, especially I am not expecting any more application movements for another 2 weeks at least.
