# of Recommendations
One of the law professors that agreed to write a recommendation for my transfer applications is MIA - hasn't gotten back to me or submitted the letter. Aside from her and the one other professor who is writing a rec, I have no other professors who really know me to ask for a letter. I can guess the answer, but here goes: for schools that require letters from two law professors (specifically Yale & Columbia), is my application dead on arrival with only one rec? Any advice?

Re: # of Recommendations
You probably need to get a second recommendation to assure that your application file is marked as complete & ready for review. Why not call both schools & ask ?
