Want NYC BigLaw market, not overly concerned about academia/clerkships

I would go if you don't care about clerkships. As long as you can still do EIW at NYU, you'll have a lot better options. However, you should have some luck mass mailing and dominate whatever NYC interviews you do get at your current school's OCI.
