the registrar just emailed - apparently I have the highest grade in the class for rhetoric (to clarify, each student with the highest grade in his/her section got this email). How should I mark this distinction on my resume?
(e.g....Spring 2011, Legal Rhetoric: A; highest grade in the class)?
It's clearly non-frivolous to put this on my resume, correct?

my school calls it course excellence award; you can safely name it "Course/Class Award in Rhetoric"

Yep. "Nameofaward (Highest grade in Prof. Smith's Torts class)" is sufficient.missinglink wrote:whatever you call it in your resume, you'll have to explain what the distinction means.
so for instance, i mention a CALI award in my resume, and in parentheses after i list it i describe what it means.
