I got this as well. They said my file was on hold and that they wanted to look at my spring grades. I took this to mean a ding, and that I would be evaluated with the regular decision.

Am I missing something?
Maybe call the admissions office?

I got the hold email as well, though I took it to mean that if I get the same grades or better this semester that I would probably get accepted.

I emailed the admission office and more or less that is what it means. I am deferred to RD and I wasn't outright rejected and based on what I do this semester then a final decision will be made.

Congrats to every who was accepted during EA!!!!

I got a box today marked "Exam Care Kit". It had some Wash. U stuff in it (pens, cup, post-its), some candy, and a thumb drive.

have you been accepted (unconditionally), or conditionally accepted?

I received the exam box today. It's a nice touch. :) Has a pen, cup, microwaveable popcorn, candy, and sticky notes inside.

I was conditionally accepted. Everyone who applied Early Action gets conditionally accepted. Also, I haven't put a seat deposit down yet. I will later this week.

Hey everybody--was thinking about starting either a facebook group or transfer thread group for as many transfer students as we can locate. I know some incoming 1Ls are planning a cardinals baseball game/tailgating before school started. I was hoping we could get a group of people together and maybe do the same. The person who started that thread encouraged current students to join. I have contacted him on facebook and I am pretty sure we could work something out. If anyone is interested in this or has any other ideas--feel free to express them! And Gongrats on the acceptance--I know I am pumped! See everyone soon!
