When I requested my username and password to their admitted students website, it sent me them. For the last 4 months it hasn't been sending me anything.

I'm 3.69, Top 6% at Wisconsin.

Phew, had me worried. Talk about a fast turnaround from when you sent in your unofficial transcript.

It's not doing anything. I clicked no password and entered my email address, all of them that I use, and nothing happened. I'm confused.

After seeing this thread, I checked the admitted students website and got a password and username sent! This never happened during the EA cycle (obviously because I got deferred). Anyone recall how soon thereafter the EA admits got the official email/letter? I seem to recall it being a few days after the backdoor admitted students website trick yielded a password/username.

Mrosmith - enter your last name and email that you used to apply here: http://www.law.georgetown.edu/admission ... ssword.cfm

If it sends you a password, you're good. Otherwise it will say "sorry..."

ETA - unfortunately, the username/password that was emailed to me doesn't actually let me login. How about you Regionality?

No, it doesn't either. This was typical during early action acceptances as well. There's usually a day or so lag between when you can get the UN/PW and when it actually works. Don't worry, you're in.

EA students received a letter 3-7 days later. I don't think anyone received an e-mail.

Also, congratulations! I'm sure you're in, even if the username doesn't let you log in yet.

Edit: Now that I think about it, after I got the username/password via the website, it took several hours before I could log in. I think the server has to update or something.

I went to "Complete" with today's date. What do people's status checker's say? I'm curious before I try the username/password thing. (I didn't apply EA)

I know. I'm just curious. Want to see if there is a trend or something with status updates or not.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered in this thread earlier... Does the status checker ever change from Application Received to Application Complete?

They said they have all my stuff, but it still just says received.

That's not 100% accurate.... it just means you haven't been accepted today. It doesn't necessarily mean that you've been rejected. There will be several batches, so check again next week.

ALSO - to everyone else, it appears that if you Status Date randomly updates to today's date, and your status is Application Complete, give the admitted students website a try. For both RD and EA cycles, a date update + application complete = admitted students password = snail mail acceptance thereafter.

T2. We don't rank. I did make the High Honors cut-off first semester, which indicates top 5% (although we can't put that on anything), but we haven't even gotten the full year cut-offs yet (I'd guess I'm between top 4-6%). Didn't apply EA, no idea about LR yet (our school doesn't allow for LR grade-on, but I did meet the grade on cut-off for the secondary journals grade-on).

This was really unexpected and makes me feel pretty good about the strength of my apps overall.
