This may not be appropriate for this thread, however I could use some help. I will be attending McGeorge next year ( has been a low t2 3/4 years) and am considering attempting to transfer. I was just wondering what the cut off line in class rank would be to even consider transferring? Hastings is a school that I have wanted to attend for some time, so starting from there where should I shoot for, besides #1 in my class :-p.

Naturally I tried to pick professors who were huge fans; I think I succeeded, but one's kind of a mysterious perv, as others who went there will attest, so one never quite knows what he might say.

I know it's doom 'n gloom, but you did better than 4/5 people in your class. Even if your school's 80% employment stat is 50% bullshit, 20/40 is still a coin flip.

I agree, that is the most probable outcome. Just do drop a line to tell me which school you will be going to, before I have to make my decision.

Out of those three, Chicago. In all seriousness, I think that would suit you best, and besides, there's our classmate, who surely outweighs my obnoxiousness. On the other hand, supposing I made their write-on, you might just spontaneously combust from seeing my name on the masthead. It's a tough call. I think you should call the Chairman of our Transnational Institute in whatever malaria-infested country he's in currently and ask him what he thinks about it.

I think CLS is incredibly unlikely, unless you're using "CLS" to mean something other than Columbia, in which case it's possible.
