Here are the graphs: http://www.admissionsdean.com/law_schoo ... ancial-aid

I thought they were neat.

I understand Interminable_Waiting, I just wouldn't want anyone feeling bad for not getting one..

Thanks everyone, that's helpful! I'm still crossing my fingers for Georgetown. At least their LRAP puts my mind a little at ease!

Just wanted to try something here:

T14

Ha, that's what I thought. When you write T.1.4. you get T13. Blatant anti-Gtown mods naturally :)

I'm gonna stay on the Chicago WL and I'm still pending at NYU, but those are obviously both longshots.

Same for me actually; still pending at NYU, only its the Columbia WL I am hoping to get off.

The admitted students day was awesome though, and if you look back through this thread a few people posted stuff about it. So I will definitely be happy to attend the caboose.

Can any of you who were able to attend the ASD and go to a class comment on the access to power outlets that we will have? I'm curious because I'm trying to decide which laptop I will purchase and how big of a priority battery life ought to be.

I loved them too! In high school, I worked in a library on the children's floor and spent most of my time nostalgically reading books instead of shelving them - I made it through about half the room before they caught me blatantly not working.

I remember there being a bunch of power outlets in the floor, at least in McDonough 205 and 206, but my recollection may be mistaken. Many people in the classes had laptops out.
Also, unless you're planning on getting a 17 inch behemoth or you think you'll be watching movies in class, most laptops will last you at least 3 hours on word processing and internet alone.

I think in 206 there were outlets like every couple of seats connected to the tables. I specifically looked for this because I have like this fear of a dead battery in general-- in anything like my blackberry, my ipod, etc. I'm really ridiculous about it :D

Does the large student body at Georgetown worry anyone else? I'm trying to decide between Georgetown and Duke, and the only thing that's stopping me from choosing Georgetown at this point is the fact that the school is HUGE. 450+ 1L students at Georgetown vs. 220+ at Duke. That's a big difference - but does it matter, since you seem to interact mostly with people from your section anyways?

What are your thoughts about the pros/cons of Georgetown's large student body? (Any good threads about this?)
