It's been fucking hot in LA this weekend. And I'm not just talking about the weather! I think I might want to move out here after law school instead of Chicago.

Have people been successful in using the roommate finder on the WashU site? Also, is the housing/area information on the site pretty accurate for the most part?

What weekend is the Cards game? If I'm going to be down there, I might as well try to meet some future classmates.
I was very successful. My roommate is a MSW student though.

No. You cannot win!!

Submit that photo ahead of time so you don't have to walk and pick up the ID. You'll feel like a true king as they hand it to you because it was prepared ahead of time. Then you shall win.

lol but i won't have to wait in a line to pick up my ID if i pick it up a few days before orientation. the emails stated you can just walk there any time on a weekday to go take a picture and pick it up so that is what i shall do.

anyways i'm loving my backpack... although at $75 i better love it.

True. I was also thinking I could save some money by not getting the parking pass and just teleporting to class every day...

Pure luck, really. My roommate found it online and we checked it out, and it is an amazing apartment. Really spacious and well kept with a deck, nice furniture, and new appliances. $1000 a month (split 2 ways) just south of Delmar and just west of Skinker. Probably a 15-20 minute walk to the law building. And our landlord and property manager are smokin hot.
