I went UR 1/27, then the date changed to 2/15. Has this happened to anyone else? Does this mean that my application is undergoing a second review? Thank you in advance for your input!

just got my acceptance letter today, and they are offering me 20,000 dollars a year. i don't think i will end up there though because Oklahoma would still be cheaper and OU law is higher ranked.

Also, how did this take so long to get started? Its far from the worst T2 school being regularly discussed on TLS...

I just got my acceptance and award letter from Chicago-Kent today and am struggling now with my law school decision. I had pretty much decided on John Marshall because of the offer they made, but Chicago-Kent made a much better offer than I thought.
What are people's opinions on these two schools? I don't know what to do!

Going strictly on rankings, Chicago-Kent is a better regarded school. John Marshall has its place in the Chicago market, but i have heard that unless you are in the top 10 percent of the class you will not have the same sort of access to jobs as the mid three chicago schools (DePaul, Loyola, and Kent).djselm wrote:I just got my acceptance and award letter from Chicago-Kent today and am struggling now with my law school decision. Hopefully I get some kind of money, but it looks like I'm in unless something else great comes along!

Re: Chicago-Kent Class of 2013
I got into Chicago-Kent a couple months ago with a full-tuition scholarship with no restrictions on the scholarship. I was really excited and was certain that is where I would be until I got into Boston U (no money) and UIUC (10k per year). I also got into some other really good schools so now I have a tough decision to make...I could very well see y'all in August thouugh!...anyone going to Admitted Students weekend on April 9th?

UIUC is great school. We saw their campus while we were in Chicago a couple weeks ago. However, Chicago-Kent places very well in the region so I would definitely consider that full-ride!!genuine_advocate wrote:I got into Chicago-Kent a couple months ago with a full-tuition scholarship with no restrictions on the scholarship. My decision got even tougher now because Boston U just offered me a 30k per year scholarship with no restrictions. Some people say that the decision should be super easy that offer but I am still not confident enough to let Chicago-Kent just yet. But yeah, I am still considering Chicago-Kent.

I just sent in my deposit so I'll be there in the fall. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to ASW though.

Down from 77 to 80 in the new rankings (and leapfrogged by Loyola-Chicago).
Employed 9 months after graduation is the key here--89.5%--which is the lowest among all 100 schools. Shitty.
Still thinking I'll be going here, but doesn't look very good.
In other news DePaul almost drops out of the top 100, going from 87 to 98.
