I figure Temple should have a thread for people who are most likely going. I just got my packet in the mail today, and I'm so pumped.

I am most likely going to go. However, I did not get any scholarship money from Temple. I did from a few other schools, but the In-State tuition at Temple is still cheaper than my other options with scholarship. Has anyone had any luck in negotiating any scholarship $ from Temple?
Even with out money Temple is a great option. I live in Philly now so I can keep my place and not have the hassle of moving.

I got accepted too. I haven't started the process of going after scholarship money.

I'm waiting on William and Mary's response before making a decision (and also crossing my fingers that I get accepted off of UVA's waitlist).

Temple's a great school and Philly is a great city. Plus it's hard to be Temple's cost.

Only the first year? My scholarship gets renewed every year (contingent on me staying in the top 50%).

I was accepted today via status checker, actually very early this morning, and have yet to recieve an email or anything else, did this happen to anyone else? haha I'm beginning to think it was a mistake...

I never received an email, and I got in weeks ago via status checker. Got my acceptance packet, but no email.

Thanks!! That makes me feel much better! is anyone definitally attending in the fall? Temple has been my number one for a while, and unless Nova offers me some $$ I'm pretty sure my cycle is over!

I'm about 95% sure that I'll be attending! I'm still waiting to hear about my decision from Villanova though, and unless they happen to match my Temple offer, I'll be going to Temple. I'll definitely be at the Open House on March 20th though

How long has Temple taken for all of you? I submitted my application on 12/27, went complete 1/11, went complete again 3/23. Submitted with a Space statement. Would anyone say this length of time means anything good or bad, or is this length of time to be expected?

I submitted 1/20, complete 1/27, and accepted 3/7. But I am a URM applicant so I might not exactly be the paradigm temple applicant.

I submitted my deposit today. The scholarship they gave me made it a cheaper option than attending In-State at the University of Maryland. I'm looking forward to moving to Philly!

What type of law are you guys looking to focus on after year 1? I am looking to move into IP Law and leverage my engineering degree and contacts at a Philly IP Law firm upon graduation. Also, is anyone a late bloomer like me? I graduated from Drexel in 2001... I'm a little late to the [strike]party[/strike] slaughter .
