When do most UVA TLS'ers plan on moving in? I recently secured a place in Ivy Garden and was planning on moving in the first weekend of August. It'll probably take me three days or so to fully settle in and then I'll just be chilling for a week before orientation I guess.

I'm planning to do the same.

It is only allowing me to have the one @virginia.edu and not letting me choose what it is (it's my computing ID the predetermined letter and number combo). I made my own @email.virginia.edu though.

It says I have can have a maximum of 7 alias in the @virginia.edu domain but above that it says you may only claim mycomputingID@virginia.edu in this domain. No option to check the availability of an alias.

You should be able to make the change to the @virginia.edu address. It is possible, that what you tried to pick has already been assigned to someone, did you try some variations?

No, the problem is there is no place for me to put in an alternate alias. When I change the domain to @email.virginia.edu there is a spot where I can put in an alias and click check availability. Hmm, odd. Mine says the same thing, but only after I have an alias. If I want to add one, I have to delete my current one.

Also, YCrev, it says I have a maximum of 7 aliases allowed, but will only let me add one.

Haven't heard about the law school yet but: The University of Virginia’s Board of Visitors voted unanimously this afternoon to enact the university’s highest tuition and fee increase in seven years (LinkRemoved).

The scary headline belies the fact that OOS students at the undergrad actually had a lower increase (6% vs 7.5%) than last year, and that in state students got only a 5 percent increase last year. My guess for the law school would be a $2500 increase over last year.
