I tend to peter out by the time it gets to lunch for cbs. Now I have some firms with options to not have meals, only interviews during cbs. Should I opt for no-meals, or continue to go to cbs + meal? My risk-averse side is saying that the fewer people I meet, the fewer opportunities I'll have to say something stupid. My other side is saying that I should meet with everyone I can and suck it up.
thoughts?

Re: Skip meal or no
Take the lunch. You can't really mess them up as long as you don't do something ridiculous. Just be yourself and enjoy being treated to a delicious meal that you could never otherwise afford.

In my opinion, I think you should take every single opportunity you can to meet and talk with as many people as possible. I would think that going to these lunches shows that you are pretty interested in the people and the firm which could only be a good thing. If you're worried about energy levels, just choose a lighter option or eat less at lunch.
