Re: SEO Corporate Law
I didn't hear anyone who lived outside of Manhattan complaining, so I doubt it'll be a big deal.
Work usually begins at 9:30am so you should have plenty of time to get in. If you get off work after 8pm, then in all likelihood your firm's car service will drop you home (though firms have a limit on how far the car can take you).
I spoke with associates at the firm where I worked who lived in NJ, Brooklyn and Long Island and they all seemed okay with the commute.

Re: SEO Corporate Law
I commuted from Jersey last summer. The actual commute wasn't that bad (an hour and 10 minutes door to door), but it kind of killed my social life on the weekends. If you're going to live outside of Manhattan, it's not that big of a deal; just make sure that transportation is sufficiently frequent on the weekends so that you don't kill your social life.

Anyone have an idea of how many LA spots there are and how many have already been filled? Losing hope with each passing day

I only know one person who got LA so far. There were also followup interviews this weekend and I'm bidding LA market so there's still spots left.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone have an idea of how many LA spots there are and how many have already been filled? Losing hope with each passing day

Anyone have any guesses on when the next round of decisions for DC will be?

Speculative thoughts: Considering the amount of follow ups last week (specifically for DC), I anticipate offers will be made today around 5-6 PM, dings tomorrow and then once they get an idea on who will accept or decline, they’ll send out another wave of calls towards the end of this week. That way they should be able to give out the final dings and maybe LAST minute offers by the beginning of next week.
It’s really the only method that makes sense.

I like the way this sounds. I want to know soon since I have a real job that requires I put in two weeks notice.Anonymous User wrote:Speculative thoughts: Considering the amount of follow ups last week (specifically for DC), I anticipate offers will be made today around 5-6 PM, dings tomorrow and then once they get an idea on who will accept or decline, they’ll send out another wave of calls towards the end of this week. For those that have been accepted, does SEO do acceptances strictly via phone?

Re: SEO Corporate Law
Thanks for the info. I was under the impression that acceptances were done over the phone and dings via email. As you can imagine, I've been avoiding my gmail today.Anonymous User wrote:East coaster here. I never got call either.
