As far as I know, there are no restrictions on you working PRIOR to starting law school. Even up until the day before. But I do believe most law schools either restrict or STRONGLY discourage 1L's from working while in school. Actually, the correct answer is not if you're over 40 BUT UNDER 45 WITH A UGPA OF 3.0 AND AN LSAT OF 178.
