You are not alone, my friend. I am feeling physical symptoms of the stress lol.

I know everyone on TLS keeps saying that 3L stuff takes longer but I am losing hope already...Haven’t heard back from any mass mail or screeners at 3L OCI.

Phone screener in a couple of hours and I'm so incredibly nervous. I've been networking/meeting up with alumni for informal coffees and lunches in the market I want to switch to for the past couple of weeks (decided against 3L OCI, felt like I'd be better off physically in the market rather than back at school) but this will be the first formal interview. Felt like releasing some nervous energy. Wish me luck y'all!

Good luck!! You put in the work networking, and they picked you for the screener for a reason. Go kill it.

Not the OP; Interviewed for SF two weeks ago in an out of state fair, no CB yet. Has anyone heard about their hiring timeline? Was thinking about sending an email.

I’m the OP that interviewed last week - I interviewed for LA. Have not heard about timeline either.

I've had two in-person screeners. Any idea if the whole 24-48 hour rule applies to 3L OCI? Kind of going crazy here/worried that it may make things awkward with my current firm the longer I wait.

Anyone know of any NYC firms hiring 3Ls other than the ones mentioned here already?

Any NY movement? (Post 3L OCI-screeners in particular). Is two weeks a long enough time after a 3L screener to assume a ding?

Same. Approaching the 2 week mark since screener. Anyone have an idea of the general wait time after 3L OCI screener before it’s basically a ding?

Applying for a post on my school's simplicity. Is it worth mentioning in the cover letter that I have a date I must tell my firm from this past summer by? The final date to apply is after the date I need to tell my firm something (I can ask for an extension, but I feel like that could get awkward), so I am wondering if it is worth mentioning the timeline mishmash. Thanks!

I had some offers during 3L after a couple weeks of radio silence but yes, most 2 week radio silence ended up with dings, some literally months later in snail mail.

That said, I only went for NY.

I heard delays were much more common for other offices.

Thanks for the support!! Just heard back today about my callback offer :D

So screener on Thursday, CB invite the following Wednesday, for those wondering about timelines (smaller market)

Did you ever follow up after like 2 weeks to check status? I am approaching that point and wondering if it’s risky to check in.
