No News on SA Permanent Offer - Follow Up?
I'm a rising 3L who summered at V-50 in one of NYC/Chicago/SF offices. Program ended last week and was told the decision would be relayed this Monday. Nothing yet. Also was told the NYC office 'recommended offer,' and got a good summer review. But I'm a little freaking out now. Should I follow up with the recruiter or just wait? How typical is this (i.e. offer decision coming out later than told)?

No, but SAs in other offices apparently did. Summers in my office all had good reviews and from the sounding of it from the attorneys, were all going to receive offers to come back.IExistedOnceBefore wrote:Have the other people in your class heard yet?

It makes sense to be antsy, but if this is the process, then following up won't expedite anything and will only potentially annoy recruiting.

OP here. I agree. I'm only antsy because they said we'd hear back by last Friday or this Monday, but nothing yet.
