WUSTL EIW + Off Campus Programs (2016)
Many of the bidding deadlines have passed and some of the firms are starting to contact students. Let's start keeping track of OCI screeners, callbacks, and offers.

Thanks for creating. Top 15% + law review. Participating in EIW and NY, Chicago, and DC off campus programs.
Edit: also heard back from White & Case but no one else yet.

Yeah, what's the scoop with White & Case, for those who "heard back?" According to Symplicity, pre-select signup doesn't even start for another week.

Re: WUSTL EIW + Off Campus Programs (2016)
Last night I logged onto SEMW and it showed "pending" for all applications except W&C, which said "accept preselect". I accepted and chose an interview time slot. Today it changed and now all say "Aug 1st" but W&C says "scheduled for Aug 1st".RareExports wrote:Yeah, what's the scoop with White & Case, for those who "heard back?" Edit: not sure if W&C just made a mistake by sending out preselects early or what

Re: WUSTL EIW + Off Campus Programs (2016)
WashU grad, got my job through the NYC job fair which I applied for in large part because they didn't require cover letters. Didn't think I would get any screeners and otherwise wouldn't have bothered. Really glad I did. Apply to that job fair if it's not too late. Also AMA.
Edit: assume the SEMW thing is the NYC thing so I see you guys are on top of it. I suggest doing as many screeners that day as you have space for. Volume is key. I hadn't even considered my firm before I got a screener there (just like I hadn't really considered WashU before I was accepted---hey weird!). Be open-minded.

yeah - it said accept pre-select, so when I clicked on that, I got to sign up for an interview slot.RareExports wrote:Yeah, what's the scoop with White & Case, for those who "heard back?" According to Symplicity, pre-select signup doesn't even start for another week.
Now, it says Interview scheduled for August 1st and if I click on that, it shows the time I signed up for

EIW screeners start rolling out tomorrow. I will try to keep the main post updated but I will be at work so I may be slow.

I have heard emails have begun being sent out. I know someone who got an email saying he/she got interviews in DC. Has anyone else gotten emails already?

Are you saying that we would receive an email when we get an interview so I should not be frantically refreshing the browser every 3 minutes?Anonymous User wrote:I have heard emails have begun being sent out. How many screeners (if any) would a top thirdish student expect at the NY fair?

Re: WUSTL EIW + Off Campus Programs (2016)
I guess I meant in general not only about the fair itself. But that's true I guess I can't help with the application process. So my friend was probably around top third after 1L (I think) and got at least a couple screeners. He also did DC and maybe even delaware in between to really try to get a bite. I can't say for sure but I would think at least a couple. And it's worth going even if you only get 1 or 2, IMO, although I know it sucks to pay to travel for it.acr wrote:It is too late.Anonymous User wrote:Really nobody wants to AMA?Anonymous User wrote:AMA = Ask Me Anything.Anonymous User wrote:What's AMA?Anonymous User wrote:Apply to that job fair if it's not too late. Nobody has anything to report? I have received no emails. Even rumors and conjecture would be nice right now.

Re: WUSTL EIW + Off Campus Programs (2016)
Despite the information on the CCD site (saying pre-select for MCGC would begin today), the actual MCGC site says pre-select doesn't start until tomorrow at 4pm. And SEMW isn't until Friday. I wouldn't be surprised if not much happens today.

Last year EIW notifications didn't go out until July 20th. I am going to be super pissed if CCD just posted the wrong dates in their handouts.

Was expecting to hear back from the STL firms by now, but no answer. I MM, and heard back much sooner (Compton Wells, and Schapher Pus)
