Note: To the degree possible, please post a verifiable source as soon as available -- firms that do not yet have public compensation memos will be listed with an asterisk. Firms with verified raises will be listed with the date on which they announced the raises.

Read yesterday and forgot about that. I am going to chalk my (joking) concern up to the fact that I want no excuse for firms to not reach $180K (and for one brave firm to go full Leeroy Jenkins and hit $185K).

Fair point. I'll try to think of a witty twist on the above (when I can clear the head space, after marking up some shoddy work from an SA).

I think would be easier just to include a note next to the Firms that deviate (different scale, regional differences, etc.)

Obviously this is just conjecture, but do people think lower-tiered big law firms will follow suit in giving a raise in secondary markets? For instance, if my firm pays 130k to new associates, would it have any incentive to raise to 135 or 140 based on what happens with top tier firms?
