Yes, please. Lets dispel the myth that non-nyc big law is less demanding.

Lateraled to new firm partway through April, billed 1100 through October when our year ended. Non-NYC primary market.

The total between both firms is 2234.

Secondary market big law, not nyc market salary or bonuses. For the fiscal year that ended this fall: ~2300 billable. For calendar year 2015: ~2400 billable.

I don't get paid enough.

Year ended 9/30. 1755, including pro bono and billable equivalent. Secondary market biglaw, non-lockstep comp (lower than NYC).

Anon from above. I chose my current firm over other firms (esp. over major market firms) in part because of the promise of fewer hours / a longer and more sustainable career. But I and everyone I know here is working hours comparable to a typical NYC shop. So that's not great.

Secondary market V50 satellite office. Currently at ~2500; will probably get near 2700 by the end of the month.

So yeah, secondary markets can be just as brutal as NYC.

Out of curiosity, is this a true secondary market, or another major market just not nyc... i.e. LA, Chicago, DC, SV, etc. ... if not one of those, then damn, bro
