Latham info came from USC. They have a good presence there though so I'd believe it.

Re: 3L OCI
So I emailed my application materials to a firm's recruitment contact a few days ago. Just yesterday, the firm posted a resume collect on my school's Symplicity. Should I reapply through Symplicity or am I good? I am thinking it might be weird for me to reapply considering they are asking for the same materials that I already sent in. But, at the same time, I don't want my application materials to get pushed to the bottom of the pile below everyone who applied via their school's Symplicity.

Re: 3L OCI
Well, Latham didn't even preselect at my school and went to lottery. They just don't give a damn. They have the resources to interview like 1-2 people at each school to cover themselves, so they might as well. According to NALP they haven't hired more than one person the past two years, so it makes sense to me.

If a firm wants to meet (i.e. interview) with me AGAIN after a callback, what does this mean? good/bad sign?

I personally think post-interview thank-yous are unnecessary, especially after a screener.

Probably too late now, but why not? It takes two minutes and if by any chance your interviewer was on the edge, or if he/she is choosing between two pretty equal candidates, it can only help your chances.Anonymous User wrote:3L, should I send a thank you note the day I had the screener at oci?
IMO, always send thank you notes. Always.

I don't think thank you notes help your chances at all, but I think it's the right thing to do, anyway.Anonymous User wrote:Probably too late now, but why not?
