I believe the statement in the title, but I'm sad the result is so hopeless.

If you really sought a career in public interest when you were considering law school, don't give up; try to access that person. Not doing OCI may have been stupid, but you can still have a career in law.

it was actually awesome. worked for a great boss who does appellate litigation. I don't think I learned as much as I should have because the workload was spread among like 20 interns. He just can't hire anyone new.
