Firm Start Date
My firm start date is Sept 2nd. Curious how that date compares to others.

Re: Firm Start Date
Great poll. I'm really curious about this myself.
Edit: Biglaw NY last week Sept.

Hard to glean anything remotely useful unless you told the forum the market and approximate firm size (i.e., biglaw, mid law or small law). Some here might even find it useful to have Vault range.Dafaq wrote:My firm start date is Sept 2nd. Curious how that date compares to others.

Texas. Mine is a boutique (under 100 attorneys). My best friend is starting at H&B, Sept 15th. Oddly enough, I have a couple BL friends starting in October, odd because they know their start month but not the actual start day.
IMHO: After graduating I think most folks probably put TLS on the way back burner, so this poll will likely only render a minimal response. Still hopeful…we’ll see.

Home with Barbri then off to Philly in late July. Then back to Philly to start, first week in September. Did most people go home to study?

Re: Firm Start Date
October at #1 makes sense, expecting bar results to be out by then. Upside is that you have a two month vacation. Upside to Sept is an extra 12k in your wallet (if only there was no tuition debt to repay).

Re: Firm Start Date
Just 10 weeks to go for us starting the day after Labor Day.
A bit odd that no one is starting Nov while others are starting in Dec. Anyone having to wait until '15?
