Offered a compliance internship a few days ago, but no offer deadline in the letter. I've contacted the recruiter and have yet to hear back. Does anyone know if financial institutions follow the same 28-day guidelines?
Also, any advice on how to tell the firm I'm waiting on about the offer? I am clearly not their first or second choice. I'm pretty sure telling them about another offer could cause them to reject me instantly.
Thanks

Re: Offer deadlines for compliance work?
Is the compliance position with a firm? If not, very doubtful that they have the same constraints as law firms, and even if so I doubt they have the same constraints as summer associate positions. I would just e-mail the recruiter saying you are very excited about their offer but would just like to take some time if it's okay with them.
