has anyone received a callback from them? it seems strange that they would do dings before callbacks, but i haven't heard of anyone getting the call.

Also very curious about this.

Did McKinsey people get a separate email inviting them to Round 2 or did they just get MB's email requesting them to schedule the IWIA?

It was all in one email.

"We would like to invite you to participate in an Interview Workshop & Initial Assessment (IWIA)..."

No. I think the consensus is that it can hurt you (risk of typos or not sounding genuine) more than it can help you.

It seemed that was the consensus for on campus, but OCS was less willing to advise on thank yous from call backs at the prep program. I am erring on the side of being polite and thanking ppl for taking themselves away from client matters. That being said, it carries a risk.

Has the callback train passed? Or do we imagine more coming out this week?

They will come throughout this week. More likely to get them in non-NYC markets and/or smaller offices.

Interested about this as well, as I still haven't heard back from about half of my screeners still. Has anyone started sending up follow up emails to firms that have been silent? Is there any actual value to this?

Also, dinged from Sidley NYC and Baker Botts DC this morning via email.

For my non-NYC market last year they trickled in throughout the week, but I want to say that by today or Thursday they'd all been in, and it's not like I got a flood this late - it was one or two.

Cool yeah, truthfully I'd be really happy to get an extra 1 or 2, not really expecting much more (if even that)

Me too. I sent a follow-up email today and haven't heard back yet. I'm starting to get frustrated, because I had hoped to get all my Boston callbacks done this week before heading to NY.
