New York firms often do day-of callbacks.

Either way you are 0/5, and you should be doing better than that. Maybe you'll go 5/12 and end up all right on the rest, but you cannot count on that. Start hustling the mass mailing and networking now.

You do have solid ties to SF right? It's a tight market.

Yeah, I've heard of it happening last week, for firms that did a dinner or something the night of.

Some who interviewed with the female Paul Weiss interviewer this morning received callbacks and an invitation to dinner tonight an hour after interviewing. Not sure about the male interviewer.

Anyone hear back from the NY firms that interviewed on Monday? 20+ screeners so far--> 3 rejections and silence from everywhere else. Getting worried...especially because of NYC's reputation for quick callbacks.

Nope. Male interviewer, CB about 2 hours after interview. They are having dinner tonight so probably wanted to get back pretty quickly.

I just realized my sole interview today is a patent firm with only two lawyers. Why would these guys even come to OCI? Is there any chance that this isn't completely awkward?
