Leveraging Offer Question

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Feb 20, 2013 2:34 pm

I currently have an offer to intern this summer with Cook County Public Defender. I also am waiting to hear back from the Manhattan DA's office, so in order to try to get an answer from Manhattan before my Cook County offer expires I let Manhattan know that I had an offer, but I did not say with who. I just received a call from Manhattan asking what the organization is that my current offer is with. Just wondering if any fo you out there have any advice on if its OK to give them this info?

I think since you said you had an offer its only proper to tell them with who. You do not want to look like you made the offer up.
