Bar Exam for Non-law job

Post by Anonymous User » Tue Feb 05, 2013 9:44 pm

Hey guys, sorry if this is the wrong forum. Anyway, it looks like after I graduate I will be going to non-legal job in business, so my question is should I take the bar, is it worth it as a credential or any other reason?

If you think you might ever work in a bar-required job again, I would recommend taking it soon after graduation since you'll still recall some of the stuff from 1L year and you'll have more resources available (the school library, etc). Also, passing the bar does have some nominal prestige benefit over just being someone who graduated law school, but that may or may not matter in your non-law career.
