on the address for a cover letter...

Post by Anonymous User » Wed Dec 26, 2012 3:49 pm

hey all

so in a cover letter of mine, i put the department and agency in the same sentence of the address (on top of the cover letter)
IE

US Department of Basketweaving, OFFICE OF GENERAL COUNSEL

instead of

Sammie Krook
Office of General Counsel
Us dept of basketweaving
5839 wogkrogkrokgor, WY

does this matter? or do employers want it on top of each other.

It doesn't matter. If someone dings your cover letter for something like that, then you probably don't want to work for them anyway.
