Writing Sample Advice
Is it acceptable to use a seven page bench memorandum as a writing sample? My judge has already OKed it. I could also use a slightly longer appellate brief from legal writing, but this is a more refined piece of writing IMO. Further, does anyone have an example of a redacted writing sample? Is it acceptable to just replace the names and other relevant information and then make a footnote?

Re: Writing Sample Advice
So you're trying to decide between the shorter and better writing sample or the longer and not as good sample?
