I had my CB yesterday after a screener last Thursday. They seem to have quick turnaround, so hoping to hear back today/early next week... anyone else?

Fulbright was my first CB and they said they would be back in touch "in the upcoming weeks." I have heard nothing for the past two and a half weeks... my suspicion is that they might be one of those firms that conducts ALL of its callbacks, and then hands out offers... but not sure.

For Bracewell, how long after your office "screener" did it take to receive a callback?

As far as silence from firms goes... aside from getting a phone call, no news is good news, right? Letter/e-mail generally means you've been dinged. Isn't the general consensus that silence = you're still in contention?

I think if it's been over a calendar week you should be ready for a ding.

Could not be further from the truth. A lot of firms do rolling offers... meaning that they extend offers and once they're turned down extend more... NALP guidelines give people 29 days to accept/reject offers. I know PLENTY of people who got their job after waiting nearly a month after their CB.

28 days, but the rest of this post is accurate.
