I just figured out that, in all the resumes I submitted for OCI, my employment dates are confusing and possibly misleading.
I put the dates of my entire time at the job (2 years), but I did not separate out the 6-month training period or the location of the training period. There wasn't space to do this, but now looking at it more closely, I realize I ought to have done this.
Is this a big deal? I am sure it will raise questions at the background check stage, so can I get away with covertly updating my resume with HR after receiving an offer?

Re: Confusing Employment Dates
I wouldn't worry, if firms are confused they will simply ask you to clarify in your interview. Be ready to explain.
