I am wondering about this. I do not think that my supervisors at the D.A.'s Office that I work at, with everybody running around in circles and schedule changes and the rest, would be able to give me as quality a reference as previous employers. However, it would be my reference from the legal profession. So, should I try to get a professional reference from the office?
Also, do firms even follow up on references? I doubt it just because of time restraints, etc.
