haha, i got the "cold" impression too, just that I didn't expect such hot-blooded actions at such a cold firm lol...Anonymous User wrote: Yeah, I thought the interviewer was pretty cold. Doesn't mean it's not a good fit for you though.

Re: Loyola Patent Fair 2012
Bump for this week! Let's hope we get some positive action!
I'm heading on my first call back today. I was looking forward to visiting the city, but then my prep work for the call back ended up taking the entire Sunday (and part of Saturday). I feel like I know so much about the firm now and am so excited about it that if I don't get the offer, it is going to be a HUGE disappointment! This is such a roller coaster ride of emotions.

Good luck! I went on one last week, it was very pleasant because we have been selected twice (preselect and screener). Don't be too nervous, and enjoy yourself. These may be the people you will be working with/under, so just be yourself. I am sure different firms have different odds, but you are in a good position!Anonymous User wrote:Bump for this week! What do you research for a day and a half about a firm? I don't think there is that much information on firm website/chambers/tls for any firm that I've been researching..

Re: Loyola Patent Fair 2012
has anyone been asked to provide an OFFICIAL law school transcript and/or undergrad transcript for their callback? My school says it may takes about a week to process the request and IDK if I should start requesting them now or if printed copies are okay.

I've been asked for official transcripts-- but I'm sure you can get them more quickly from your school if you need to.

Re: Loyola Patent Fair 2012
It would not matter and honestly, it's better not to write one. Each interviewer probably calls +20-30 students. You are actually doing him/her a favor by not adding more emails to his/her already overloaded mailbox. And, if you make a careless mistake (typo/wrong name/wrong firm) in writing, it will leave a very bad impression. It's the same reason that my school advise us not to send a thank-you note to CB interviewers after the CB interview.Anonymous User wrote:If interviewer leaves voice message inviting CB, should we write thank-you email?

I'm an alum.
Just curious about what the current perception of FR is in the job market. I know they had some issues a year or two ago. Is Finnegan regarded safer?

Posted Aug. 2, during the middle of PLIP. If they couldn't wait until after recruiting season to do this...
