DA's Office or County Attorney's Office (unpaid internship)
I am pretty new to this site, so forgive me if this question or one of a simiar nature has been posted. Question: I have been offered a summer internship in both the DA and County Attorney's Office. I have been promised a particular division in the County Attorney's Office (torts), with some court work. However, I have not been told where I will be working in the DA's office, nor have I been given any specific details. Which position will give me more of learning experience, exposure to court, etc. Also, which office will be an asset to my obtaining a paid summer associate position for my L2/L3 summer - in other words which looks better on paper or are they equal? Any suggestions or criticisms are welcome.

To address the court part of your question, my guess is that the DA's office would give you more exposure since ADAs are in court ALL THE TIME.
I'm sorry, I don't know anything about SA positions but I'm sure there are plenty of others on this board who can address that part.
