what firm are you going to this summer, if you don't mind sharing? that really does suck, i'm surprised they'd put something like that into your letter. my offer letter was the usual "we enjoyed meeting you & hope you will join us this summer, we'll keep your offer open for X days," etc. no mention of grades.
